New 2027 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Unveiled

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been a staple in the midsize luxury sedan market for decades, combining sporty character with sharp style and sumptuous appointments. For the 2027 model year, Mercedes-Benz has redesigned the iconic model with more technology than ever, a refined new interior, a new powertrain, and more. Introduced in 1982, the C-Class has seen more than twelve million examples sold globally and is one of the most integral nameplates in the 140 years of automotive history that Mercedes-Benz traces its roots to. The comprehensive update for the 2027 Mercedes-Benz C-Class reinforces that dominance, making use of the latest technology in Mercedes-Benz’s portfolio to create one the most capable and luxurious iterations of the legendary C-Class yet. A new front fascia is one of the most noticeable new design features of the new 2027 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The new grille features a chrome surround, contour lighting, and an illuminated Mercedes-Benz star, and the headlights also feature a star design. Meanwhile, the silhouette has been refined to combine elegance and sportiness, and a selection of 18- and 19-inch wheels further enhances the car’s sporty character. Two new exterior colors have been added to the C-Class palette: Miami Silver Metallic and Moody Sky Grey Metallic. <- Gallery -> A new interior design offers MB-Tex, leather, and Nappa leather upholstery, with a new Cherry Red color and new Natural Grain Birch Wood and High-Gloss Silver Metallic trims. MB.OS technology also comes to the 2027 C-Class, with the AI-powered MBUX Infotainment system, a portrait-oriented center display, a driver display, and a new multifunction steering wheel. Modulation is available for the spatial audio effect, and music can be focused on the first or second row of seats. Another available feature detects the seated occupants, focusing the audio towards them automatically. A new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine powers the new C-Class, which features 48-volt electrification to further enhance its performance and efficiency. It features 255 horsepower and 295 lb/ft of torque, and also boasts an overboost function that adds an extra 27 horsepower for 20 seconds. The driving experience is further enhanced by a suspension dedicated to combining comfort with confidence, a drag coefficient of 0.24, and other high-tech luxury features. Redefining the midsize luxury sedan category, the new 2027 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is more technologically advanced than ever, with the stunning design elements of the latest Mercedes-Benz cohort. Arriving at Mercedes-Benz dealers in the United States in the first half of 2027, a luxury sedan icon has been reborn. View All Mercedes-Benz C-Class For Sale Image Source: Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz Brings Past & Future Icons To Monterey Car Week

By Tyler Rampersaud –  August 11, 2026

Mercedes-Benz Celebrates Classics & Modern Cars At Car Week

Mercedes-Benz is known for over a century of luxury automotive icons, with some of the most important nameplates in the worlds of automotive performance, opulence, and design. Whether it’s the legendary 300 SL, the 600 sedan, or the racing-derived 190 E, Mercedes-Benz has one of the greatest portfolios of classics in the automotive industry, and that lineage will be celebrated at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. However, those classics are displayed alongside some of Mercedes-Benz’s modern creations, with the aim of answering the question: “Which vehicles from today will become the collector icons of tomorrow?” That question is tackled by the Mercedes-Benz Future Classics Auction House, a special display at this year’s Concours that celebrates some of the most exclusive Mercedes-Maybach, Mercedes-AMG, and Mercedes-Benz models in recent years. These include a Mercedes-Maybach S 680 that is nearly identical to the one owned by LeBron James, a Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed, a Mercedes-AMG G 63 Galactic Pearl, a Mercedes-AMG ONE, and other vehicles that showcase the breadth and excellence of Mercedes-Benz MANUFAKTUR craftsmanship. Decades-old classics from Mercedes-Benz have long been celebrated during Monterey Car Week, with one Mercedes‑Benz 540 K Special Roadster from 1937 winning the 2023 Best of Show award at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. This year, the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance features the one-of-one 1938 Mercedes-Benz 540K Streamliner, and representing the future of Mercedes will be a preview of the Mercedes-AMG GT SUV, also at the Tour d’Elegance. <- Gallery -> The last remaining known 1905 “American Mercedes” will be at the Future Classic Auction House and the Concours, and other iconic Mercedes-Benz cars at Car Week will be the 1938 Mercedes-Benz 320 Streamliner Sedan, the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe, the Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II, the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster, and the CLK 63 AMG Black Series. Celebrating icons of the past, present, and future, Mercedes-Benz is bringing its best to Car Week this year. View All Mercedes-Benz For Sale Image Source: Mercedes-Benz

New Electric Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupe Unveiled

By Tyler Rampersaud –  August 06, 2026

New Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupe Revealed

A new chapter opened for AMG when the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe was unveiled, introducing a new AMG-exclusive electric model that brought with it axial flux motor technology and the fruition of a new AMG.EA architecture. Its flagship variant, the GT 63, features a massive 1,153 horsepower, utilizing cutting-edge EV engineering and tech to deliver its uncanny performance. A new variant is coming to the lineup, however, the new Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupe, and while it’s more modest than the other two, it still packs a serious performance punch. The new GT model features dual-motor all-wheel drive, with two permanently excited synchronous electric motors that together contribute 536 horsepower of peak output, with 362 horsepower of continuous output and 590 lb/ft of torque. With that power capable from the motors, and a Formula 1-based, 106-kWh, AMG performance battery with 800-volt technology at its heart, the new GT 53 4-Door Coupe’s 0-60 time is only 3.4 seconds, and its top speed is electronically limited to 143 mph. That battery, along with a two-speed transmission that combines acceleration and efficiency, helps the new Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupe achieve an estimated range near 500 miles. Bridging the gap between the new cohort of electric performance vehicles and their combustion-powered predecessors, the GT 53, like its GT 55 and GT 63 siblings, offers an AMGFORCE Sport+ driving mode, which simulates the sound of a six-cylinder engine and gear changes through paddles. The sound aims to authentically emulate the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine in the previous Mercedes-AMG E 53 coupe. <- Gallery -> Redefining grand touring for the electric age, the new GT 53 features an AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with air springs and adaptive damping to switch from relaxed cruising to a sporty, precise character in three stages: Comfort, Sport, and Sport+. AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive also means that the new four-door grand tourer provides confidence, engagement, and versatility with torque vectoring and decoupled electric motors. Like its counterparts, the new Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4 Door Coupe features AEROKINETICS active aerodynamics that control airflow around the vehicle for optimal speed and control, including an active rear wing, which is standard, and an optional rear diffuser. A new performance-dedicated EV in the rapidly transforming AMG lineup, the new Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupe is yet another example of the cutting-edge technology that is transforming AMG’s approach to performance. While it might not be as powerful as the GT 55 and the GT 63, the GT 53 still packs a serious punch and is setting new standards for luxury electric grand tourers. The New Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 Is The Fastest In Its Class At The Nürburgring

By Tyler Rampersaud –  August 04, 2026

The New Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 Sets A Nürburgring Record

While it isn’t destined for the States, Mercedes-Benz unveiled a new AMG model at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed: the new Mercedes-AMG CLA 45. Based on the new CLA, which introduced cutting-edge technology and an all-electric powertrain to the celebrated luxury compact nameplate, the CLA 45 features three axial flux motors, like the new all-electric Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe. It’s only the second fully electric production vehicle to feature that technology, the first being the GT, and with two motors at the rear and one at the front, the new CLA 45 boasts a massive 680 horsepower, with the ability to get from 0-60 in just 2.7 seconds. As a compact car, its immense power makes it unlike anything else in its segment, and that incredible performance has now been proven on one of the world’s most revered racing venues. That is, of course, the Nürburgring Nordschleife, nicknamed the “Green Hell” for its forest surroundings, its challenging corners, and its dramatic elevation changes. The track puts the world’s best and fastest cars, drivers, manufacturers, and engineers alike to the test, and a lap time on the Nordschleife is not only a measure of driving talent but also of a vehicle’s performance. <- Gallery -> The new Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 managed to lap the Nordschleife in 7:32.070, making it the fastest car in its segment to lap the track. Taking full advantage of its all-wheel drive system and Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS tires, the summer conditions proved ideal for the new performance electric AMG to prove its abilities on its first attempt. With immense electric performance in a small footprint and cutting-edge technology to make it use its power as efficiently as possible, the new CLA 45 and its Nürburgring record open a new chapter for AMG’s approach to luxury performance engineering. The Best Maybach & Mercedes-Maybach Luxury Vehicles For Sale Now

By Tyler Rampersaud –  July 31, 2026

The Best Maybachs For Sale

Maybach is, without a doubt, one of the most respected names in the world of automotive luxury. Originating in the early 20th century, Maybach was introduced in the 2000s as a brand of ultra-luxury models that were highly exclusive and unequivocally opulent, and while the Maybach name achieved pop culture icon status in that time, the 2010s saw it transform into a sub-brand under the Mercedes-Benz umbrella. Mercedes-Maybach cars since then have not only been luxury sedans, but also all-electric cars, SUVs, and even roadsters have emerged wearing the iconic nameplate. All bearing a unique design aesthetic and ultra-luxurious features, the Mercedes-Maybach lineup is continuing to evolve with an increasingly diverse choice of body styles and a growing brand with a strong global presence. Both the Maybach brand of the 2000s and the Mercedes-Maybach lineup of the modern era have cars that are sumptuous and collector-worthy on the marketplace, and duPont REGISTRY, the source for supercars since 1985, is the place to look if you want to buy one. Specializing in luxury and exotic cars like the Maybach lineup, duPont REGISTRY has plenty of Maybach cars for sale and Mercedes-Maybach for sale from retailers across the country. In the 2000s, Maybach was its own brand that made ultra-luxurious cars that competed with brands like Rolls-Royce. Now, under the Mercedes-Benz umbrella, Mercedes-Maybach cars are transformed from their standard Mercedes-Benz counterparts with design, engineering, and style that exudes Maybach’s opulent level of luxury. In addition, Maybach cars are often customized with unique features in either exclusive special editions or even MANUFAKTUR Made To Measure bespoke vehicles, which are designed by the owner and by Mercedes-Maybach in conjunction. One of these MANUFAKTUR Made To Measure cars is owned by LeBron James. What is the difference between Maybach and Mercedes-Maybach? Maybach was its own brand in the 2000s. It manufactured two luxury sedan models, the 57 and the 62, as well as the one-off Maybach Exelero. However, Mercedes-Maybach was a revival of the nameplate as a Mercedes-Benz sub-brand, like Mercedes-AMG. Today, Mercedes-Maybach cars are extensively revised variants of Mercedes-Benz models with unique luxury features and engineering. What Mercedes-Maybach models are available? The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, which was extensively updated for the 2027 model year, is the flagship luxury sedan available from Maybach. In addition to that, the Mercedes-Maybach SL is a sporty roadster that, unlike the Mercedes-AMG SL, features graceful Maybach luxury and opulent design, and the Mercedes-Maybach GLS is an SUV that combines gracious Maybach features with SUV practicality and off-road capability. The all-electric Merceders-Maybach EQS SUV was the first all-electric Maybach, and the upcoming Mercedes-Maybach VLS is a new “grand limousine” ultra-luxury brand coming from Maybach. Does Maybach still use V12 engines? Yes. The latest Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is still available with a V12 engine, specifically the Mercedes-Maybach S 680. In the past, Maybach models and Mercedes-Maybach models came with a V12 under the hood, but many of today’s models, like the SL 680, the GLS 600, and the S 580 all have V8 engines instead. The Mercedes-Maybach EQS uses an all-electric powertrain, and the Mercedes-Maybach VLS is likely to be all-electric, as well.

Mercedes Drops Another Teaser of the Upcoming G-Class Cabriolet

By Khris Bharath –  July 24, 2026

Mercedes Drops Another Teaser of the Upcoming G-Class Cabriolet

Mercedes-Benz has posted a teaser showing a fabric roof folding away on a G-Class, accompanied by the caption, "unfolding a new chapter for the G-Class." Little else is visible beyond the rear-mounted spare wheel and what appear to be low-profile tires. The most revealing clue is that both Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG are tagged in the post, suggesting the open-top G-Class could launch with performance variants from the outset. Mercedes first confirmed the open-top W465 in September last year, with a shadowy silhouette teaser announcing that a new G-Class Cabriolet was in development. We reported on camouflaged pre-production prototypes undergoing testing in December last year. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Mercedes-Benz G-Class (@mercedesbenzgclass)   Built by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria, since 1979, the G-Class or Geländewagen began life as a military off-roader before evolving into one of the world's most recognizable luxury SUVs. Civilian versions turned it into a cult luxury object favored by celebrities and royalty, while the hardware stayed serious: three locking differentials, short overhangs, and eventually AMG power with SLR-style side-exit exhausts. The open-top format is not new to the G-Class. Cabriolet versions have existed since the earliest days of the model line, including on utilitarian trims, but factory convertibles have always represented a tiny fraction of overall G-Class production.  The best-known example, the G500 Cabriolet, was offered exclusively as a short-wheelbase two-door between 1999 and 2013 and was never officially sold in the United States. Production ended with the W463 Final Edition, a run of 200 examples that sold out before making its public debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.  The 2017 Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet took a different approach entirely, pairing a V12 and portal axles with a partial folding roof over the rear compartment only. Limited to 99 units, two examples have crossed the digital auction block on duPont REGISTRY Live over the past year. Reports for now all point to a four-door layout on the upcoming model based on the W465 platform, which is a departure from the short-wheelbase two-door tradition. That original two-door open-top bodystyle has since become one of the most desirable configurations.  The restomod world too has embraced the format, as highlighted in our list of some of the best Mercedes G-Wagens for sale today. Expedition Motor Company, Refined Marques, Mansory, and G Cabrio all build interpretations of it. Brabus and Mansory have both gone further, producing four-door cabriolets on the current W465 platform. We  Series production is reportedly scheduled to begin during the third quarter of 2027 ahead of a 2028 model year launch, with a Mercedes-AMG G63 Cabriolet expected to headline the range. Update: Mercedes has since put out one more clip earlier today, revealing a near-production-ready prototype with camouflage only on select bits of the bodywork.  View All Mercedes-Benz G-Class For Sale View this post on Instagram A post shared by Mercedes-Benz G-Class (@mercedesbenzgclass)     Images: Mercedes-Benz

Another one of the new flagship Maybach SUV’s other technology updates is an AIRMATIC air suspension with intelligent damper control, as well as optional E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL that Mercedes-Benz says analyzes and adapts to the environment 1,000 times a second, making virtually instantaneous adjustments to ensure a confident and comfortable ride. The driving experience is further enhanced with a suite of driver assistance systems, utilizing ten exterior cameras, several sensors, and powerful computing technology. The optional MB.DRIVE ASSIST PRO will soon offer a “CITY PRO” feature that promises to offer a point-to-point driving experience, even in heavy traffic.
